PROCESS

How we work.
In four phases.

From the first call to software in production, handed over to you.

01FOUR PHASES

From first call to handover.
Nothing hidden in between.

  1. 01

    Discover

    Week 1

We learn what your software must do and must never get wrong, then give you a plan to decide on.

    What happens

    • A first call, 30 minutes and free, to see whether we are a good fit.
    • Who uses it, and what breaks for them today.
    • What must never break: payments, data, deadlines, compliance.
    • Which tools and systems it has to talk to.
    • Which languages it has to speak, from day one.

    What you get

    • A one-page architecture note.
    • A scoped plan with a price range and a timeline.
    • A clear list of what is in and what is out.

    What you prepare

    • Access to the tools you use today.
    • Two or three example workflows, as they really happen.
    • One person who can make decisions.

  2. 02

    Design

    Weeks 2–3

We design how the work flows before any screen, then make it clickable so you can try it before we build.

    What happens

    • Flows first: every path a user takes, including the unhappy ones.
    • A clickable prototype of the key screens.
    • Review sessions with you and, where possible, the people who will use it.
    • A performance budget, agreed here rather than discovered at launch.
    • The content structure for every language, defined before copy is written.

    What you get

    • A prototype you can click through and share.
    • A small design system in your brand.
    • Agreed flows and a performance budget the build is measured against.

    Engineer

    Weeks 3–10

We build in clean layers, show you working software every week and add the safeguards from day one.

    What happens

    • Architecture in layers: interface, API, logic and data, each replaceable.
    • A demo every week on a staging link you can open at any time.
    • One shared channel for questions and decisions.
    • Tests and database migrations from day one.
    • AI only where it earns its place, with a person able to check its work.
    • Security basics: roles and permissions, backups, audit logs.

    What you get

    • Working software on staging, every week.
    • A short written update each Friday.
    • A codebase in your repository, readable by any good engineer.

    Launch

    Final week + 30 days

We launch carefully, make sure you can run it without us, and stay close for the first month.

    What happens

    • Deployment to production, with monitoring switched on.
    • A performance check against the budget set in Design.
    • A training session for your team.
    • A 30-day care window: fixes, small adjustments and questions answered.
    • Afterwards, a fixed-scope project or a long-term partnership, if you want one.

    What you get

    • Software running in production, on accounts you own.
    • Documentation, including a handover guide that explains how to run it.
    • A final check that every account and credential is in your name.

02A WEEK IN PRACTICE

What working with us looks like.

A typical week during the build. The rhythm never changes, so you always know what comes next.

  1. MonPlanning note

A short note: what we build this week and what we need from you.

  2. TueBuild

Heads-down engineering. Questions go to the shared channel.

  3. WedBuild

Work lands on staging as it is finished, not saved for Friday.

  4. ThuBuild

Tests, reviews and the small fixes that keep it clean.

  5. FriDemo + update

A demo on the staging link and a written update: done, next, risks.

  6. SatNothing

    We don’t ping you.

  7. SunNothing

    We don’t ping you.

Channel
One shared channel: WhatsApp, email, Slack or Teams, whichever you already use.
Replies
Within one working day, usually the same day.
Calls
Scheduled in your time zone, not ours.
03PRINCIPLES

Six things that don’t change
from one project to the next.

  1. 01

    You own the code

Repositories, accounts and data are yours from the first commit, not handed over at the end.

  2. 02

    No surprises on price

You see the price range before we start. Every change comes with its cost before it is built.

  3. 03

    Multilingual from day one

Languages are part of the data model, not a translation pass at the end.

  4. 04

    AI with people in control

AI drafts, sorts and suggests. A person approves anything that matters, and every answer can be traced.

  5. 05

    Fast is a design decision

Speed is budgeted in Design and checked at Launch, like any other requirement.

  6. 06

    Clean handover, clean exit

Documentation and a handover guide mean you can continue with us, with another team or on your own.

04WORKING TOGETHER

Two ways to work together.

Fixed-scope project

What it is
A defined piece of work, from Discover to Launch, with an agreed scope and price.
Best for
A new product, a first release or a clearly bounded system.
Billing
By milestone: a share at the start, then as each phase is delivered.
Changes
Written up with their cost and timeline impact before they are built; you decide.
Minimum
The discovery week, which is paid.

Long-term partnership

What it is
Ongoing engineering on a system in production: improvements, new features, care.
Best for
Software that keeps growing with the business after its first release.
Billing
Monthly, for an agreed amount of capacity.
Changes
Re-prioritised each week; the monthly plan absorbs them.
Minimum
Three months, then month to month.

05QUESTIONS

Asked before
every project.

Most first releases take 6–12 weeks: one week of discovery, about two of design, then engineering and launch. Small websites and focused AI tools run a shorter version of the same process, from 3 weeks. You get a timeline at the end of the discovery week, before you commit to the build.

With Agan Aliu, the founder, who designs and builds your system from the first call to launch.

Changes are normal. We write each one up with what it costs in time and money before it is built, and you decide whether it goes in now, later or not at all. Nothing changes the price without your written agreement.

Yes. We work remotely with clients in Europe and beyond. Calls are scheduled in your time zone, contracts are in English and we invoice in EUR, USD or GBP.

Often, yes. We start with a short paid review of the code, infrastructure and data, then tell you plainly what is sound, what is risky and what we would change first. If a rewrite is not justified, we will say so.

You don’t have to take it on trust. Everything on our Work page is still in production, and you can review each project there. The discovery week lets you judge how we work before you commit to a build.
